Cute boots, terrible sizing information and return / exchange process

The boots are super cute, they smell like lemon and they are of great quality. They would get a 5 stars if the whole process was less painful. The sizing information is terrible. I normally wear size EU 38 or US 7.5 and in this style I wear 39 or 8.5-9. Also, the customer service process is atrocious. I ordered a pair of berry color and received the black ones instead. To exchange, I need to send them an email and ask for an exchange label. I assume I will receive tomorrow by email. Then I have to return to the post office and mail to Canada, which is more complicated. If they want to do good business in the US, they will need to simplify this entire return / exchange process or they will not survive.
